Everyone joins a live draft and takes turns picking teams.
Draft order is set by a random lottery before the draft. Provably fair.
Balanced draft (recommended): picks are distributed so everyone's total pick positions are roughly equal. Fairest format.
Snake draft: order reverses each round. Pick 1st in round 1, last in round 2.
Pick timer: 5 minutes per pick by default. Run out of time and the best available team gets auto-picked for you.
Your teams play real games. Their wins are your wins.
MLB, NBA, NFL: total wins.
NHL: total points (2 for a win, 1 for OT loss).
Standings update automatically. You don't need to do anything after the draft.
3 to 10 players. 10 is ideal.
MLB/NBA (30 teams): 10 players = 3 teams each. Every team gets drafted.
NFL/NHL (32 teams): 10 players = 3 teams each, 2 undrafted.
Fewer players = more teams per person. Math adjusts automatically.
If your league doesn't fill up by draft time, AI players can take the remaining spots. They draft using championship odds, compete all season, and are clearly labeled. Human players always rank above AI in final standings.
Do I need to know about sports?
Nope. Pick teams during the draft, then just check standings whenever. Zero daily management.
How long is a season?
MLB: Apr-Oct. NBA: Oct-Jun. NFL: Sep-Feb. NHL: Oct-Apr.
Can I join multiple leagues?
Yes. As many as you want, any sport.
What if I miss the draft?
